Clear any debris out of the door lock assembly.

The washer door will unlock at the end of the drain. Reconnect power to washer plug in. Nothing else will appear to be happening with the machine during this time. Disconnect the power cord from the power source.

You may also want to test all wiring connections leading to the lock. It would be a good idea to see if no debris has stuck in the door lock unit. Remove the lower access panel. The door can be manually unlocked.

Replace the door lock switch if defective. The door may immediately unlock. You will have to remove the dispenser bezel trim to access the cord to pull it to open the locked door. If the washer will not unlock at the end of a wash cycle unplug the washer or disconnect power. After 8 minutes the door will unlock. Gently pull the tab down about 1 4 inch or until a click is heard.
